One of Brother Don's most favourite films is 'Pride & Prejudice'. I tend to prefer the BBC version but hey, that's getting beyond the point.
Mr Darcy... What a right peacock; full of pomp and bristle, but yet as you get to the end of the book/film you see such a different side to this character.
Please don't judge a person by appearances and if you live by the adage that 'First impressions count' then you'd better take a good look in both the external and internal mirror and brush up. As to hold such highly contemptuous morals means that one themselves must be the epitome of perfection - We all fall short of the mark of perfection... Only Jesus hit that criteria and He died on Good Friday (exact day may be slightly awry), but the accomplishment is all the same.
The Pharisees & Sadducee's all judged Jesus by His cover, but what they had been so pompous in their attitudes that they did not recognise that Jesus was the exact cover they had been looking for to fulfil the Old Testament Scriptures.
'Do not forget to entertain Strangers (BD - Be led by the Holy Spirit), for by so doing some have unwittingly (unknowingly) entertained angels' Hebrews 13 verse 2, in the Bible.
Don't judge a book by it's cover... but ensure you use Wisdom (Bible look up - click this link)
